As mentioned on our facebook page earlier today Bolt Thrower have been announced as the headliners for Damnation Festival 2014 taking place at Leeds University Union on 1st November 2014.
Vocalist Karl Willetts said: “Well, we always knew if we were ever going to play a festival in the UK, it would be Damnation Festival; as we’ve only heard good things about it from mates who’ve been, and other bands who’ve played it.”
“So we’re chuffed our only UK show of 2014 – and the foreseeable future – will be Damnation’s 10th Anniversary Bash… Grind on.”
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Damnation and since it’s move from Jillys Rockworld to Leeds University in 2007 it seems there’s no stopping it’s growth each year. The 2013 edition saw the addition of a fourth stage bringing the cream of UK doom with the likes of Serpent Venom, Conan and Moss playing “Electric Amphetamine”. Who knows what other additions the 2014 festival will bring but with tickets priced at just £36 and this being the only Bolt Thrower UK appearance for the “foreseeable future” we expect it will be a sell out.
