About

Since 2002, RSJ have released two EPs and two albums to flawless reviews from publications such as Metal Hammer, Kerrang!, Terrorizer and numerous e-zines.

Their last album "Gain to Nothing" (2007) continued this trend with yet more stunning reviews and contained a host of bonus material including a remix by Matt Wilcock of death metal giants Akercocke. The video for the "Deadbolt" was also aired on both Scuzz TV and MTV2's Headbanger's Ball and The Riot.

RSJ have toured and gigged with a wide variety of scene luminaries such as Soilwork, Biohazard, Unearth, Funeral For A Friend and The Berzerker to name but a few. Along the way the band have proudly secured endorsements with ESP Guitars & Basses and Hughes & Kettner Amplification.

In October 2007, RSJ won the award for Best Metal Band at London's Glasswerk National Music Awards, automatically earning them a headline run on the
Scuzz TV stage at the legendary Bloodstock Open Air Festival. 2008 also saw the band win Metal Hammer's "Famous For 15 Minutes" competition, earning them the opening slot on The Unholy Alliance Tour: Chapter III, playing alongside Slayer, Trivium, Mastodon and Amon Amarth.

2009 and 2010 saw the RSJ take on the festival circuit playing London's Hellfire Festival and Headlining Ireland's Lowend Festival before heading to Knebworth Park to play the mighty SONISPHERE FESTIVAL 2010 alongside Metal giants such as IRON MAIDEN, RAMMSTEIN, ALICE COOPER, PLACEBO, PENDULUM, ALICE IN CHAINS, MOTLEY CRUE and EUROPE.
