About

'Modern Metal with a Progressive twist'

Left For Red are a Five Piece Heavy Metal band originally formed in late 2009. LFR have a wide range of influences including Pantera, Deftones, Tool and Strapping Young Lad to name a few. LFR's sound is a mixture of Punk, Metal and Rock. Layering powerful melodies and catchy riffs over a thundering rhythm section, makes you want to sing, dance and beat thecrap out of the person next to you.

LFR have played with some of the best bands the West Midlands has to offer from all styles and genres, in the process introducing their unique blend of rock and metal to some of the top venues in the area. In May 2011 LFR released 'Left For Red Vol 001 - Empty Shell', a three-track EP which is still being played on local radio stations. Following the success of Vol 001, LFR returned to the studio in the summer of 2012 to record Vol 002- Mercy Flight, due for release via ARC RECORDS 01.12.12.
