The Response was formed in early September 2013 in Portsmouth, UK, by Jonny Hoskins (Guitar and vocals) and Matt Gudgeon (Bass and vocals). Joe Hutton then joined the band in late November. After nearly a year with the band, the band and Joe went separate ways. In October 2014 Chris then joined the band filling the vacant drummers position. The Response aim to entertain with an infectious rock vibe, crossed with driving bass lines and elements of funk guitar.
