The Smokin' Prophets, rock band hailing from Southampton England.

The Prophets roots start way back in 2011 as a band called Hollywood Trash, an 80's style glam band with a great classic rock swagger. Over two years Hollywood Trash gained a good following playing up and down the country with the likes of Crashdiet, Reckless Love, Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls). The band even went over to Germany to play Shout it out Loud festival with a whole host of glam and sleaze bands.

In August 2013 after a few lineup changes the band decided to start a fresh and took a darker punker style still with the glam/ sleaze image. 2 releases followed, a single in December 2013 and a double aside single in February 2014. Since the name change the band have played with the likes of The Last. Vegas and the. Dust Bowl Jokies and have regularly headlined shows in Southampton and London.
