About

Founded in 1994 by singer/guitarist/songwriter Patrick Walker, Warning recorded two demo tapes before releasing their cult debut album, The Strength to Dream in 1999.

Their second album, 2006's Watching from a Distance, has been heralded as one of the most influential doom metal albums of the past 25 years and one of the landmark metal albums of the last decade.

In 2008, after a scattering of live concerts, Patrick Walker decided to discontinue the band to pursue a new writing project, and Warning played their final show headlining the Metal Merchants Festival in Oslo in January 2009.

In April 2017, Warning reassembled to perform Watching from a Distance, for the first time in its entirety, at the Roadburn festival, Tilburg, The Netherlands.
