About

Feastem is a Finnish grindcore band, formed in November 2005 by Kari, Olli and Antti in the town of Raahe. After trying out a couple of drummers they were soon complete with Patrik. Feastem's first live assault was at Lybestock festival in early 2006. The first recording, "Psychotic Excess EP", was made a couple of months later. More gigs and new songs followed through the year. By the spring of 2007 they recorded the "Worthless" promo, which got them to the finals of Alku. -band competition.

In December 2007 they finished recording their first full-length at Finnvox studios with Panu Posti. The result, "Fear in Concrete", was released in autumn 2008 by the Singaporean label Scrotum Jus Records. Around that time they did a two-week European tour with the Swedish band The Arson Project.

The summer of 2009 meant another European tour for Feastem, this time with Slavebreed from Greece. Among the shows was an appearance at the Obscene Extreme festival. During late 2009 and early 2010 they recorded a new album titled "World Delirium", again with Panu. There was also a change in the lineup, as Kari was replaced by Petri from Famine Year. "World Delirium" was released in January 2011 by Obscene Productions from the Czech Republic.
