HUNTRESS will play their first ever UK shows in October 2012 including a London appearance at Metal Hammer’s Halloween party. 

The LA outfit will play Bournemouth and Cardiff before joining Black Spiders at Islington Academy on October 29, 2012. 

All proceeds from the London show (Metal Hammer Halloween Party) will go to two awesome charities – Childline and Health Partnership Nepal – and with tickets coming in at just £3.50 and shots of Kraken and pints of Hobgoblin at recession-slaying prices; you really have no excuse not to be there. Desertfest 2013 will take place in Camden, London, between the 26th and 28th April 2013. With earlybird tickets going on sale this Friday we decided to have a very quick catch up with Desertscene Dan to get a few questions answered about next year's festival.  After last years amazing festival with the likes of Church Of Misery, Corrosion Of Conformity, Black Pyramid, Orange Goblin, Karma to Burn and loads more we wanted to find out more...   

Japanese post rockers are returning to the UK to play ATP Nightmare before christmas curated by Shellac.  The show also features Neurosis, Melt Banana, Red Fang and many more.  

Making the most of the long trip over from Japan they have announced a string of UK dates around country as follows:

Friday 30th November – Shellac’s ATP, Camber Sands
Saturday 1st December – Bristol, The Exchange
Monday 3rd December – Glasgow, Oran Mor
Tuesday 4th December – Belfast, Mandela Hall
Wednesday 5th December – Cork, Cyprus Avenue

Mythology Agency and Live Evil have teamed up with Metropolis Music and Bro (UK) to arrange for one of the most powerful UK heavy metal tours of recent times. The 5 date ‘Into the Dark’ tour is headlined on all dates (apart from London) by pioneering heavy metal legends Angel Witch.

With a lineage dating back to 1977, South London’s Angel Witch were leading lights of the now legendary New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement. The band have decimated stages around the world in recent years with arguably their best ever line-up. Angel Witch will mix all their classic numbers with choice cuts from lauded latest album released on Rise Above Records ‘As Above, So Below’.

Main support on all dates (and London headline) is provided by the high energy Swedish heavy metal act Enforcer. 

BELGIUM sludge kings AMENRA have promised their "most memorable" UK show in 13 years as they head to Damnation Festival to headline the Eyesore Stage.

They'll join English post-rockers MAYBESHEWILL and purveyors of doom Witchsorrow at Leeds University Union, on Saturday, November 3, 2012, for an exclusive appearance.

The band said: "Everyone in Amenra is really excited about performing at this year's Damnation Festival.

"This is now already our most memorable UK show in our 13 years of existence.

"We will make this one last forever in the memories and mouths of everyone who will be there."
