Acolourfall are an alternative/grunge-metal band from Nottingham/derby. Formed by Chris Jackson, Danny Smart, James Wolfe and Samer Bata. The band have recently self-released their EP Eleven:Eleven on all digital retailers. A unit of passionate songwriters, performers and musicians keen on playing high-energy live shows that showcase the musicianship and energy of the band, Acolourfall define their sound through alternative-rock, grunge, punk and nu-metal. Acolourfall have made a stamp on the local scene and received positive reviews for both their live shows and their music.
Acolourfall are currently booking shows all over the UK to promote and create an even bigger fan base. Readying themselves as well for a rigorous recording schedule for their debut album (due date TBC). Acolourfall's mission is to bridge the gap between bands like Sevendust, Neurosis, Downset, Fear Factory, Deftones and a perfect circle - bands that very much influenced them over the years, and create something that bought that sound to modern crowds with a no compromise attitude.
The concept of Acolourfall is simple: create music that is catchy, real and heart-felt but never becoming genre-specific, commercial or tainted with universal standards. To challenge their own comfort zone as well as push boundaries. Dave Nicholls from Loud-stuff reviewed the band stating that 'Acolourfall are one of those bands that rarely appear, the sort of band that isn't afraid to do what they want to do, crafting their own sound as they go without listening to what other bands are doing.'
Acolourfall create a mysterious feel around them during their live shows but still maintain an open, honest relationship with their fans and listeners. Robert Barker stated that Acolourfall's music is 'Groove filled musical adrenalin that refuses to leave you seated, Acolourfall create a mix of importance and enormity to deliver the undeniable impression they are serious in their execution and commitment.'
