Birmingham-based melodic black metal act AMONGST THE SURVIVORS was formed by guitarists Steve Deathridge and Dan Hughes, vocalist Joseph O'Neill and drummer Austin Miller in January of 2009. Since their formation, the band's dedicated work ethic and their fearsomely intense live performances have shaped them into a potent force on the unsigned metal scene.

Combining influences as diverse as Immortal, Cult Of Luna, At The Gates and Devin Townsend with the band's own identifiably unique songwriting sensibilities, AMONGST THE SURVIVORS found themselves ready to take their blend of lethal hooks, furious blasting and epic scope to the masses a mere six months after their initial formation. From their ferocious debut showing at Birmingham's Scruffy Murphy's venue, AMONGST THE SURVIVORS have gigged relentlessly, garnering critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase while more than holding their own alongside acts such as Winterfylleth, Beholder, Ragnaroc and Godsized.
