About

Attention Thieves, a four piece Rock band from Reading, using their energetic live shows and infectious songs to captivate audience's right from the word 'go'. The band mix huge, melodic choruses with powerful chugging riffs creating a sound that will tickle the ears of both the underground rock scene and mainstream radio listeners. The band pride themselves on their hectic touring schedule and since their formation in 2010 have already Played such festivals as Reading and Leeds and clocked up a lot of miles on the road touring with the likes of Enter Shikari, Canterbury, Hacktivist, Hildamay, Max raptor, I Divide, We Are Fiction, Verses, Evarose, Neck Deep and Acoda to name a few.

By 2012, With the help of their debut EP 'Look A Little Closer' and an exclusive performance at Thorpe Park for the opening of rollercoaster 'The Swarm', Thieves quickly became a hot ticket and saw them grace the bills of Make A Scene Festival, Beach Break Live, Redfest and Reading and Leeds, where they played the BBC Introducing Stage and received a string of Radio 1 plays as a result, including the Introducing Show with Jen + Ally, The Rock Show with Dan P Carter and The Radio 1 Review Show with Edith Bowman. Their track 'You'll Be The First One' was also championed by Ian Camfield at Xfm and gained them a 4-track live session on The Rock Show in March 2012.

The band concluded a busy 2012 with a recording session with John Mitchell (Architects, You Me At Six, Young Guns, Your Demise) and gave fans a first glimpse of the results with single 'Can't See The Light' which dropped in February 2013 around the band's first ever headline tour and comforted with both Kerrang! and Rocksound Magazines including them in their 'Ones To Watch for 2013' features.

2013 has taken them from strength to strength touring with Enter Shikari, Canterbury and playing the main stage at Hit The Deck Festival. The release of their 2nd EP 'Hard Truths' in September highlights some of their finest work to date with single 'I Swear' reaching number 18 in the Kerrang! Magazine Rock Chart. The release was also well recieved at radio particularly by Ian Camfield on the Xfm Rock Show, Sophie K on the TeamRock Breaking Bands Show and Alex Baker at Kerrang! who awarded Thieves his Band Of The Week and invited them on for a takeover show. Bringthenoiseuk.com named it their 'EP of the year' and alternativevision.co.uk claimed it's 'the release that will get them the attention and recognition they truly deserve'. It's surely only a matter of time until the rest of the world catch up and take note.
