Death is the Navigator is a metal band from Southampton.

Their style consists of a mix of progressive metal and thrash/djent, with hints of industrial thrown in, topped off with complete random insanity. Their newest material has seen influence from Tool, Type-O Negative, and Lamb of God, among many others.

With a focus on developing an increasingly experimental style, Death is the Navigator offers an energetic and engaging live performance. The name "Death is the Navigator" is a quote from a William S. Burroughs poem created during his "cut-ups" period.
