Formerly called Rosicrucian they changed their name to Fever Sea in 2012.   "The thing is.... We got a bit better, so we changed our name. That's fine."

Formed in early 2010 by members of Pale Mist, Excelsior, Betamaxx and Final. We started out making lo-fi black metal in the vein of Velvet Cacoon, Wolves In The Throne Room and Burzum, but as time has progressed we have evolved our sound to encapsulate so much more.

Our E.P 'Beneath The Waves' (recorded with Nev Christ at Synaesthesia Studio) demonstrates perfectly what this band has come to embody, passages of furious blackened riffage with buckets of soaring ambient melodies.
