Formed in the autumn of 1994 by guitarist Claudio Alcara (Stroszek, Aere Aeternus, Macabre Omen), FROSTMOON ECLIPSE is one of the oldest established Black Metal bands on the Italian scene, mixing melodic acoustics with old school Black Metal to contrast and compliment the different sounds. It's this mixture of aggression and melody that has singled out the band as one of the more thoughtful and expressive exponents of the genre.
