Three piece Metal/Rock/Noise machine Hummune (Immune to humans), began in November 2009, after three friends decided to leave their previous bands and start something new. Hummune are influenced and inspired by by the artists, people and situations surrounding them.

We released an EP on our own label M.R.S Records in early 2010. The EP received great reviews with scores of 9/10, 4.5/5 etc. (In Metal Hammer and various underground publications and sites).

We had more than enough material to record and album, so we sent our existing EP to various labels to get signed so we could record it.
Despite the great magazine and site reviews, there was little interest shown.

The album had to happen! We recorded a pre-album demo to give out at Shows, and for Radio airplay/Press. It was recorded at Chuckalumba studios in the New Forest (Hampshire) where Electric Wizard recorded their first two releases. We decided to record the album ourselves so we researched recording methods, software, equipment and created a studio within our rehearsal space using our own equipment. We recorded the music then built a soundbooth for vocals in our garage.

After a year of trial, error, learning and pure determination we released 'Crafted in Darkness' in summer 2012.
