Iron SeaWolf was formed in 2009 when Nick Wragg recruited a misfit crew of buccaneers and outlaws to play some Alestorm covers at a school talent show. After the success of this first voyage, the lineup changed completely as crew members came and went, and the band took on a life of its own straying away from the covers and focusing on original material when composer and multi-instrumentalist OwenEvans signed up for the crew. Now the good ship Iron SeaWolf pillages and plunders across the North of England, sometimes as a full crew performing their full-on pirate metal, and sometimes as just Nick and Owen performing stripped-down acoustic sets. The seafaring crew are also hard at work producing their debut album, which is to be entitled "Hoist the Black Flag". Keep a weather eye on the horizon for black sails and the sound of rollicking folk metal, as Iron SeaWolf could be coming for you very soon!
