About

Legend in Japan are an explosive alt-punk band from London, England. The antithesis of the saccharine sweet pop princesses dominating the modern music scene, in the year they've been together, they've already garnered favour with crowds up and down the country and a rapidly expanding fan base.

Whilst pricking the ears of the press with positive reviews from the likes of Alt Sounds and Punktastic, their journeys so far have seen them smash up the Hype stage at Redfest, take on the Wickerman festival in Scotland (The Skints, Sharks, Bad Manners) and make two appearances at Europe's biggest punk gathering at Rebellion festival in Blackpool, then hit the road from underground punk gigs and club nights in Cambridge, Bristol, Brighton, Basingstoke, Essex, Leicester, Coventry and Exeter to name a few and many more across the UK to bigger support slots with the likes of The Flatliners, Rancid, Gnarwolves, Fat Wreck Chord's Cobra Skulls, and OPM.

They released their eagerly awaited debut EP 'Welcome to the Pity Party' in February backed up by a sponsored nationwide tour and a European tour in July. Making their debut TV appearance to 150,000 viewers on Loaded's TV show, it's been quite a year for this young band.
