About

Metasoma has a unique blend of culture and style which fuses rock n roll with heavy metal. The group was founded in London in late 2009 by two seasoned riff masters Voytek and Michal. After recording some instrumentals the two guitarists needed to add vocals to their otherwise completed tracks. They were soon approached by Amro and were later joined by bassist Alexei and Drummer Vaughan.

Upon recording their first track Rasta Peace (R.A.P) followed by a live video clip at Camden Rock (London) Metasoma has encountered some considerable success both amongst critics and music fans after embarking on a mini tour across the UK in 2010. From Bristol to Manchester, Scunthorpe onto Doncaster's infamous Tattoo Jam then finally finishing off in their home town UK capital. Their tour performances left fans longing for more with the band's brilliant stage presence and killer vocals.

Since then the band has entered the U.K's "Live and Unsigned" National Competition where they got through to the semifinals. Metasoma are proud winners of the Cooltura Festival competition 2010 at the Shepherd's Bush O2 and were asked to return in 2011 as the sub-headlining act. They progressed to the Global Battle of the Bands 2011/12 national final and have released their debut EP 'Metal Erosion' early in 2012. Their March 2012 'Metal Erosion' tour was received brilliantly by metal heads and music lovers alike all around the UK. It has boasted some impressive reviews to date and it seems that it is just the beginning.

Metasoma has a reputation for winning over the crowd at every venue, having gained a lot of interest from promoters around London. The group lives for the live shows and this is evident from the number of concerts they have performed to date as well as their growing loyal fan base. Metasoma are now planning their 2012/13 endeavors with several new track listings and an album brewing. Fans and music lovers around the globe are in for an exciting ride when Metasoma refines their sound with all new recordings of the existing tracks and of course the fresh new songs.
