StoneWire are a female fronted, rock band based in SE England with an ever-growing reputation for a live show that's not to be missed. Their mission is to take rock back to its roots; jaw-breaking, foot tapping, head-banging, melodic and bluesy.

With influences spreading across so many genres they have found a sound that is unique and refreshing yet reassuringly familiar. Rock, Blues, Country, more Rock, Heavy Metal and even more Rock are all thrown into the mix to produce something that has been described as
classic British Rock with a dirty Southern twist. Their combination of heavy yet melodic riffs, dynamic rhythms and distinctive, blues-laced vocals, have critics compare them to contemporaries such as Black Stone Cherry, The Answer and Shinedown

Since the beginning of last year StoneWire have been playing continually throughout the UK and Europe, including a small headline tour in Germany and various venues and festivals across the UK. A second appearance at Rhodes Rock Festival in Greece saw StoneWire, booked as one of only two original bands, perform on the Main Stage at the ancient Amphitheatre. Over the year they've shared a bill with bands like Praying Mantis, Voodoo Six, Never The Bride to name but a few.
One of the highlights this year was supporting Michael Schenker on the Swedish leg of his Temple of Rock / Lovedrive Reunion tour. StoneWire were so well received by the Scandinavian audience that a follow up tour is in the planning.

The bands self-titled debut EP was released in 2012 and has received glowing reviews. Their steadily growing fan base has called for more and StoneWire have now reduced their gig schedule as work on the album has started.

In conjunction with their album release a tour will follow across the UK with additional dates in Europe.
