About

Britain's Vindicator was formed, via a complex time paradox, in late 1981 by mysterious guitarist/vocalist/immortal rat god 'Vermintide'. However, the departure of initial bandmates Lemmy Kilmister and Brian Downey forced the band to split, failing to release their debut single.

However, in 2009, the band made an unexpected comeback - Vindicator's "Outbreak" EP, written and recorded entirely by V

ermintide, delivered a potent cocktail of occult, decaying lyrical themes, atmospheric production, and tight thrashing guitars; splicing infectious headbanging melodies with ripping solos and bone-crushing extreme metal riffs. This was followed by the long awaited release of the lost 1981 single "Undead In Leather" in 2011, the title track of which was featured on the "Terminal Messege Vol.1" compilation, upon the decision to once again augment the band's lineup. Vindicator are currently writing their full-length album "Black Sacrament" amidst playing shows and breaking spines throughout the UK.

The band has also contributed to "The Devil's Legion: A Tribute to Onslaught", an ongoing project founded by bassist Dave Ingram to pay tribute to one of the UK's greatest thrash acts. Their cover of "Witch Hunt" can be found both on the Vindicator and The Devil's Legion (www.facebook.com/thedevilslegion) Facebook pages for streaming and free download.
