Dying Fetus European Tour

Dying Fetus have announced a European tour based around all their European Festivals including Bloodstock Festival on 11th August 2013.  They will play the London barfly on the 12th August.

Yes you read that correctly DYING FETUS IN THE BARFLY.  The tiny venue is up in the far reaches of Camden past the lock market, this should be pretty insane, i'm sure if a...

The line up for this year's installment of Candlefest, the annual festival from Candlelight Records has been announced and it's a bit of a blinder (hardly surprising with their roster of bands).  The event will take place at the Underworld Camden over 3 days 23rd-25th August 2013 with Anaal Nathrakh headlining the first night, Altar Of Plagues, the second and Winterfylleth the third.  The line up is as follows...

Noise doom super group Nazoranai announce UK dates

Nazoranai Glasgow UK tour 2013

Nazoranai the noise/doom/avant-garde super group featuring Stephen O'Malley, Oren Ambarchi and Keiji Haino have announced 3 dates in the UK for July 2013.  Here's what Stephen O'Malley has to say:

"...It was one of those 'what now' moments you never imagine happening, having been a fan/follower of Haino's playing, concerts and recordings over the years. Five years later, somehow, we ended up as this trio. Haino, Oren and I were all in Holland for one reason or another and decided to try it. I played bass for the first time on stage with this group. Maybe it shows but the idea was a power trio backing up Haino-san, with a lot of amplification...It's hard to describe the...

Torche 2013 UK tour London date change

Torche UK tour 2013

A few weeks ago we had Torche UK dates added to the site for August 2013.  We have since found out that Torche have had to change the London date from the 17th to the 19th due to a clash with a commitment to play the Lowlands Festival.  The band issued this answer to the change on their facebook page:

"...apologies for the changed dates. Had a couple other dates that changed on us, so it was move the date or not play London at all".

Good on them for still playing a London date, the date change may be better for some fans, and worse for others, but at least they have honoured playing.

The updated 2013 tour dates are as follows...

Horse Latitudes UK tour July 2013

Horse Latitudes UK Tour

The self proclaimed Finnish "slow and primitive metal" band Horse Latitudes are heading to the UK in July.  The band have been about since 2009 and are unusual in they have no guitars and are a 3 piece consisting of 2 bass players and a drummer, so expect high levels of rib shaking crushing bass.  They have a new 12" "Black Soil" being released on Doomentia Records in June.  Support on the tour will come from London's S&M (previously know as Sunday Mourning).

The dates are as follows...

Paradise Lost UK tour with Lacuna Coil

Paradise Lost UK tour with Lacuna Coil

Just in case you missed it last week Paradise Lost announced they will tour the UK later this year to celebrate their 25th anniversary.  Support for the tour comes from Italian's Lacune Coil.

Nick had this to say about the forthcoming anniversary shows:

"25 years IS a long time, on the surface we may look ramshackled, but playing music for so many years has kept us young in our hearts and I truly believe that a youthful spirit is one of the greatest things you can’t buy in a pub.
We have written many...
