The UK's Dragonforce have announced a string of dates in the UK and Ireland as part of their world tour for their latest album 'The Power Within" which is due out on April 15th.
The dates are as follows:
September 25 – Dublin, Academy
September 27 – Belfast, Mandela Hall
September 28 – Glasgow, ABC
September 29 – Newcastle, Academy
September 30 – Wolverhampton, Wulfren Hall
October 1 – Bristol, Academy
October 3
Singaporean grindcore trio WORMROT have confirmed dates for a UK headlining tour, which kicks off on June 1st in Bath.
The band will play ten shows around the UK, before heading on to mainland Europe for a number of summer festival appearances, including Dokk'em Open Air and Obscene Extreme.
WORMROT guitarist RASYID comments:
"We're super stoked for this one, more than usual! We promise a killer live show, plus we've added to our setlist some new songs that you can expect from our third full-length, so hope you guys stay tuned for them!"

It may seem a bit odd to do an interview about a music venue, but they seem to be a bit hit and miss all around the UK at the moment. Many great venues have closed their doors over the last few years so it's great when new ones open their doors to the Metal world. If you're not a regular to Camden you may not have heard of The Black Heart pub. It's a relatively new venue in the London metal scene, tucked in an alleyway just behind the infamous Underworld venue. They've got some pretty good things on the horizon so we ventured to have a pint with the bar manager Josh and find out more about this new venue and upcoming gigs.
Quick update on the London Prostitute Disfigurement date on 6th May.
The venue has changed to the Unicorn in Camden and this now means the all dayer will be FREE OF CHARGE. Yes you saw the above line up and read that correctly. This means you'd better turn up cash in hand and spend it on some lovely band merchandise, touring don't come cheap!!

Support has been announced for the London HM Forum Electric Wizard show and it's looking pretty tasty.
Purson, Age of Taurus and Witchsorrow have all been added to the bill making this a pretty much must see event.
