BELGIUM sludge kings AMENRA have promised their "most memorable" UK show in 13 years as they head to Damnation Festival to headline the Eyesore Stage.

They'll join English post-rockers MAYBESHEWILL and purveyors of doom Witchsorrow at Leeds University Union, on Saturday, November 3, 2012, for an exclusive appearance.

The band said: "Everyone in Amenra is really excited about performing at this year's Damnation Festival.

"This is now already our most memorable UK show in our 13 years of existence.

"We will make this one last forever in the memories and mouths of everyone who will be there." 

If you've been keeping an eye on our facebook page you will have already seen the news that Talanas were announced for support for the My Dying Bride London date.

They have now also been added to Damnation Festival and also the whole of the My Dying Bride european tour. Check the press release for details of the tour and their new album due out in October:

If you haven't already heard this week, Blind Dead Promotions have announced the first ever London show by Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats.  This band have been creating a massive amount of hype on the underground reaching many top album of the year lists for 2011's "Blood Lust" album.

News has just reached us from Miranda (Terrorizer magazine) that the Wodensthrone and A Forest Of Stars gig in Brighton has moved venue again. Despite venue problems both Shane and Miranda from Terrorizer have worked hard to find a suitable replacement venue and insure the gig still goes ahead.  The gig originally scheduled at the Hydrant, was moved to Psychosocial after The Hydrant announced it had closed.  However the gig has had to move again, and is now taking place at Volks on Madeira Drive down by the pier.  Doors will be at 7.30pm

Bloodstock festival have today announced the line up for The Jagermeister stage promising a mix of stripped down, acoustic or just up close intimate performances.  Dave McPherson, fontman for Inme will be playing as will former Dragonheart frontman ZP Theart.  Absolva will be making their UK debut, who feature members of Fury UK and Iced Earth.  Both Kobra and the Lotus and Splintered Soul will be playing extra slots on top of their already confirmed appearances on the Ronnie
