The Shovell (as theyﾒre fondly known) have been exciting audiences across the UK and Europe for far too long now (with Orange Goblin, Pentagram, and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats) and have been described as sounding somewhere between the heavy blues of Budgie and the brutal attack of Sir Lord Baltimore, only played by the Goodies on weak acid. You will marvel at their headsplitting 70s style riffs played with aplomb, but might find yourself a tad queasy from their inane sense of humour.
