Extra Info
Chaos Theory presents a night of atmospheric postmetal, drone and sludge from three instrumental bands at Camden's best venue.
Pet Slimmers of the Year
A trio from Peterborough, whose use of dynamic changes flow so masterfully from the ambient melodies to the heavy metalladen riffs that you never notice the nuances until they're overwhelming you.
Their new album 'Fragments Of Uniforms' has just come out on 14th April on Candlelight Records, and is worth every penny.
"A band that favours creating atmosphere and intensity via cycled patterns and subtlety over using a sledgehammer" Echoes And Dust
"Very precisely structured, intelligently crafted" The Sludgelord
"Much in common with the likes of Winterfylleth" Thrash Hits
OMSQ
An instrumental drone, psyche and sludge band travelling up from Brussels. Favouring long, drawn out atmospheric buildups with ominous overtones, erupting into epic stoner and space rock riffs. A true fusion of the unpolished doom aesthetic with the precise production of electronica and postmetal.
They have an upcoming fulllength album being launched on the same night, two split EPs out on Belgian label Ante Records and have already blown UK audiences away while sharing the stage with Djvera, Hey Colossus, Humanfly, Palehorse and Solaris.
Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster
A band that has etched themselves into the heart of underground UK postmetal. With a few promising early releases, culminating in the widely acclaimed album 'Exegesis' being released and revered, this Londonbased four piece have endured lineup changes and various obstacles and come out the other side.
Now back as an instrumental band, we're sure that we're not alone in being hugely excited about the new material that they're writing.
"An expansive, vast ocean of sounds that is never too technical for its good" Sloucher
"One of the more surprisingly solid albums of the year" Sputnik Music
