HAAR was formed in 2008 with the ambition to create challenging and idiosyncratic black metal. Their sound is defined by a generous measure of dissonance, a progressive approach to songwriting and a palette of sounds that includes death and doom metal influences. The first EP, released in May 2010, was well received by both the metal press and fans. This has lead to the band playing with bands such as Negura Bunget, Winterfylleth, Altar of Plagues, Aura Noir, Wodensthrone and A Forest of Stars. In 2005 Burial formed, quickly gaining popularity and a name in the underground scene. Burial is receiving recognition for its unique and incomparable sound.
