KATALEPTIC www.facebook.com/kataleptic Kataleptic formed in '08 in Birmingham, England with the aim of making pure, unrelenting, Death Metal. The band quickly formed a following in the Midlands playing the local pubs and clubs as well as recording and releasing two demos between '09 and '10. The band was also featured in Terrorizer Magazine's Grindhouse compilation. From here the band has played shows up and down the UK, securing supporting slots with extreme metal luminaries such as Nile, Anaal Nathrakh, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Blood Red Throne, Defeated Sanity, Cerebral Bore, Dyscarnate, Ulcerate, Benediction, Desecration and Amputated to name a few. In 2012 the band released it's EP, Through The Eyes Of Carnality, and shortly afterwards was picked to play the prestigious New Blood stage at Bloodstock Open Air festival. In 2013, after 5 years of service, Kataleptic parted ways with vocalist Matt Walton. Matt was replaced by guitarist Dan Benton, who switched from guitar/vocals to a vocalonly position. Replacing Dan came Edd Reay, a talented guitarist who will complete the new lineup! Kataleptic are currently recording their debut full length album! Fuelled by a rejection of Church & State institutions and other oppressive, intolerant and absolutist states of mind. To date Coldwar have toured Ireland/UK as well as having made several trips to Europe and the USA. The band have also played a number of festivals including Wacken Open Air (Germany), Obscene Extreme Festival (Czech Republic), Load As Fuck (USA), Day Of Darkness (Ireland), Up the Punks (UK), Cork Winter Fest (Ireland), Burning Oak Festival (Ireland), Subvert Festival (UK) and more. Coldwar have shared the stage and toured alongside bands such as Fear Factory, Soulfly, Sepultura, EHG, Suffocation, Anthrax, Hatebreed, Napalm Death and many more. With four releases previous since their inception via Underground Movement each release has gained the band a growing fan base. In 2014 Coldwar signed a deal with Candlelight Records marking the start of a new chapter for the band beginning with the release of the fifth Coldwar record ﾑPanthiestﾒ. PLAGUE RIDER www.facebook.com/plaguerideruk Plague Rider was conceived in 2011 with the intention of resurrecting the sound of early technical death metal pioneers of the late 80's and early 90's, with dynamic, involved death metal that defies modern trends within the genre. Emerging from a local scene ripe with extreme metal bands, Plague Rider burst from the grim darkness of their conception onto the equally grim darkness of the underground in early 2012. Solidifying their reputation as, ﾓtighter than the nail in the coffin liveﾔ and stabilising their lineup over the next year, 2013 saw the release of their debut, self titled album to widespread critical acclaim, earning them a place as heavyweights of the North East metal scene. The band has gigged extensively in the North East and further afield in Scotland, supporting bands such a: Chapel of Disease, Dawn of Chaos, DOOm, Sodomizer, Bonesaw, Repuked and Winds of Genocide.
