The self proclaimed Finnish "slow and primitive metal" band Horse Latitudes are heading to the UK in July.  The band have been about since 2009 and are unusual in they have no guitars and are a 3 piece consisting of 2 bass players and a drummer, so expect high levels of rib shaking crushing bass.  They have a new 12" "Black Soil" being released on Doomentia Records in June.  Support on the tour will come from London's S&M (previously know as Sunday Mourning).

The first ever Doommantia.Com Compilation is now available for download for only $7 from BANDCAMP. This compilation was put together to raise money to benefit Ed Barnard of Doommantia.com. He suffered a heart attack and due to huge medical bills, he is now homeless.

Immediate download is a mere $7 (about £4). Benediction walk on stage (or should that be hobble - Dave Hunt had a broken foot) to greet us for what they described as "a Death Metal breakfast".  Well "please sir can I have some more?", because if breakfast was like the set Benediction treated us to then I'd be jumping out of bed every morning.

Tickets for Doom Over London III have now gone on sale.

To say we are excited about this is an understatement.  Ahab have confirmed they will be headlining and playing their first ever UK show.  Following hearing their 2005 Oath demo and then their monstrous debut "The Call Of The Wretched Sea" in 2006 it's been an aching wait for them to finally make it to our shores.  With 2009's "The Divinity of Oceans" showing the debut was no fluke, this could well give the Skepticism gig a run for it's money for Doom event of the year in the UK.
