Florida's Iced Earth have announced a world tour for 2014 with 3 dates in the UK in January. The band are currently writing a new studio album which is due out in late 2013. They have also recently released "Live in Ancient Kourion" which was filmed in the Kourion Ampitheatre in Cypris whilst they were on the "Wolrd dystopia tour". Australia's self proclaimed ‘most rock n roll, rock n roll band in the History of History’, Mammoth Mammoth have announced a European Tour for November 2013 which includes 3 UK dates. The band who recently signed to Napalm Records and released "Volume III - Hell's Likely" will certainly appeal to fans of fuzzed out bands like Fu Manchu and Truckfighters with a mix of AC/DC and Motorhead. It’s a sound MAMMOTH MAMMOTH call ‘Heavy-murder-fuzz.’ And its effect as ‘...the type of rock that some times kills unicorns’. Support on the tour comes from Sweden's The Quill.

Tasmanian tech-death metallers Psycroptic have just announced they are heading over from Australia for a european tour that includes several dates in the the UK. The tour support comes from Italians Hour Of Penance and the UK's very own Dyscarnate. Hour of Penance guitarist Giulio Moschini commented: “We’re extremely happy to tour again with our friends in Psycroptic and Dyscarnate and most of all to play again in Europe after the successful tour we did with Cannibal Corpse, Devildriver and The Black Dahlia Murder in February. For the first time, Hour of Penance will also play in Ireland! Be there!“

Just in case you missed the announcement last week Maltese Death Metal act Abysmal Torment announced they will be heading back to the UK in September. Those of you who have caught this dual vocal act will know how brutal they are live, and for those of you who haven't yet caught their live act now is your chance. Since their last visit they have hit so many european festivals and we for one are very excited they are coming back to our shores.
This is a rolling joint headline tour with Greek act Inveracity who have been out of action whilst serving the mandatory military service but are now back with new material and heading to the UK for the first time since 2008.

Live Evil Festival is back for 2013!!! This festival was sorely missed in 2012 but is back for 2013 and moving to a bigger venue. Melvins have just announced 2 unique shows that will be happening at Electric (London) in May 2013. On Sunday 19th May they will be performing Lysol and Houdini. On Monday 20th May they will be playing Bullhead and Stoner Witch. Tickets for both nights go on sale this Friday (1st March) at 9am.
