Dylan Carson (of Earth) is heading back to the UK for a string of solo dates. If you’ve caught him live before you know these shows are going to be awesome. If you haven’t then go and see what all the fuss is about. Here’s what promoters One Inch Badge had to say about the upcoming dates:

DYLAN CARLSON’s solo work combines field recordings with classic Scotch/English ballads about human/fairy encounters Carlson’s first solo outing is a journey through his personal and cultural past embracing music, folklore, the occult dimension and history. These very special shows will represent a quieter, darker side of DYLAN CARLSON’s talents, and an absolute must for all fans of the exploratory nature of music’s edges, from Sunn O))) to Swans, and of course, EARTH.
The tour culminates with an extremely exciting co-headline show at London’s Corsica Studios with legendary performer JARBOE, former SWANS vocalist and close collaborator with such acts as NEUROSIS, and JESU.
Her delivery has been described as voice acting and also channeling. It can be at turns innocent, knowing, seductive, & vitriolic – contained in melodic as well as experimental compositions. A primary objective for JARBOE is to close in on the gap in the audience/performer relationship via complete submission and vicarious experience through her performance. Through visceral vocals, her repertoire includes a variety of voices from the shy schoolgirl to seductress to demon.
