Enthroned extreme metal alldayer preview

This Saturday the Electrowerkz is host to a black/extreme metal alldayer brought to you by Aeon Promotions in association with Nazgul Agency.  With so many bands on the bill we though it wise to present you with a preview piece to check out all the bands making up this huge bill priced at a bargain £14.50.

Headliners Enthroned really don’t need any introduction, they bring their christ raping black metal mayhem across from Brussels for a full 60 minute headlining slot.  Check out their official website here.

Ethereal are a self managed black metal band from Liverpool that started way back in 1999.  Their long overdue debut has been recorded by guitarist V.Santura of Dark Fortress and Triptykon and is due out early this year. Check out their EP from 2010 below.

Primitive Graven Image from Chesam have been going since 2006 and feature brothers Rob and Luke Lehane who formed the band from a love of the traditional black metal style.  Their music has been described by Metal Hammer as “Powerful and emotive songwriting, with emotive and epic discordance tempered by an occasional Bathory-like stomp”

Verdelet from Southampton in the UK founded at the tail end of 2011 and got signed to German label Ashes of Paltry Souls in 2012. They then toured Europe with Nachtmystium and Dark Forest to support their debut release “Return to Dust”.  Here’s a rough mix of a track from their forthcoming release “Light Of The Spring”

Scutum Crux hail from London and were founded by Demiurge (Necrosadistic Goat Torture/Sturmtiger) in 2003. Having expanded from a one man studio band the line up now also features members of Bastard Divine, Actum Nocturnune and Death In Veins.

Aeternum formed in London in early 2011 and will bring their blackened death metal to the alldayer influenced by Dissection, Behemoth, Belphegor, Watain and Necrophobic.  Their self released EP “Through Death We Ascend” was released mid 2012 and is available through bandcamp.

Vehement are a black metal band hailing from Eastbourne in East Sussex that formed in 2005.  Their debut album was recently recorded at Foal Studios with Chris Fielding and is due out shortly.

Ataud seem cloaked in mystery, a South American Satanic metal band based in London is all the internet seems to give away about this act.  Check out tracks below from their 2012 demo Macabros Hallazgos.

Premature Birth should be no strangers to London black metal gig-goers. This four piece formed in 2011 and have had regular support slots across the capital, check out the track below taken from their “Genocide” demo.

Lastly the final support slot is filled by Nottingham’s Bloodguard.  Having supported bands such as Hypocrisy, Abigail Williams and Insomnium they should ensure the pits open up early at Elektrowerkz.
