Anaal Nathrakh tour confusion with Fleshgod Apocalypse

//Anaal Nathrakh tour confusion with Fleshgod Apocalypse

Anaal Nathrakh Garage Highbury

Eariler this week it was announced on various sites that Anaal Nathrakh are due to tour with Fleshgod Apocalypse. A quick search on the net and you’ll see the ticket sellers (see tickets, we got tickets etc) have the tickets up for sale with both bands listed. Today however, Anaal Nathrakh have issued the following statement:

“For anyone hoping to see us in the UK in October: It appears we have been announced for a string of UK dates with Fleshgod Apocalypse in October. We did NOT agree to play these shows. Repeat: at no point have we ever said that we would play these dates, or that Mick would even be in Europe at the time. We are currently looking into whether we can do them for the sake of those who may have already bought tickets. But the dates have been announced without our participation or consent, and we cannot guarantee at this stage that we will be playing. We thought it best to let people know the situation as quickly as possible rather than waiting for a final confirmation. Further information will follow as soon as it is available.”

Not sure what’s happened but with the sheer amount of people it takes to sort out a tour between bands, labels, bookers, promoters, agencies etc it can be no mean feat to keep leakages before finilisation and get it right all the time, everytime.  As soon as we hear more we’ll update this post, or you can keep an eye out on the official Anaal Nathrakh facebook page here for any developments.

“Update about October – we’re not going to be able to make the UK dates with Fleshgod Apocalypse. Apologies to anyone who feels let down by that, but we couldn’t make it work. Nazgul et al are being informed at the moment. Hope the shows go well.  no other shows are affected. This isn’t a case of pulling out of anything, only of not being able to make shows we didn’t know about ahead of time.

The entire Liverpool date of the tour has now been cancelled by the promoter, refunds will be provided to those who have already purchased tickets.
