Merseyside based Caveman Battle Doom band Conan have announced a string of UK dates for October this year, singer Jon Davis (no not that one, this is not numetalgigs) had this to say "This tour will be our last until the new album is out, and we'll be using it to try out a couple of tracks from the new album. Looking forward to hitting the road again".  We're certainly happy about this news, Conan live outings are IMMENSE and following on from slaying at festivals such as Roadburn and Desertfest they were recently signed to Napalm Records.  We're sure the new material will be crushing, just check out the link below to their recent split with Bongripper.

This September 22nd 2013 the Electrowerkz in London plays host to Hammer Smashed Fest, a grind/death metal alldayer headlined by an exclusive UK show from Brutal Truth.   The line up so far is Extreme Noise Terror, Psycroptic, Hour of Penance, Dyscarnate, Exhumer, Corrupt Moral Altar, The Atrocity Exhibit, Unfathomable Ruination, Acrania and Anoxide with more bands yet to be confirmed.

We came, we saw, we banged our heads.  From an initial rain soaked arrival at Donington Park the weekend ended up a fairly sunny and fun 3 days of beer and music, but more importantly an AMAZING set from Iron Maiden. From the initial Spitfire flyover and Moonchild to an encore of Aces High, The Evil That Men Do, and Running Free it was an amazing 2 hours of music showing they STILL have it in spades, Phantom of the Opera was phenomenal.

A surprise announcement was made during their set that they would be returning to England at the end of their current Maiden '88 European tour to play the O2 Arena on Saturday 3rd August 2013.  Better still is they are insuring the REAL fans will be able to get tickets...

Australian's Thrash Death band Vomitor have announced the "Satan's Escalation" European tour, and are set to return to our shores this July.  The band's latest album "The Escalation" was released last November and you can order it hereon LP from the tour promoters Invictus Productions, and check it out below on bandcamp.

French quintet The Lumberjack Feedback who feature 2 drummers will be heading over from Lille for a few dates in South England in July.  The UK dates are part of a European tour promoting their new album "Hand of Glory" which is due for release on Kaotoxin Records on July 2nd 2013.  Various preorder packages are available from the Kaotoxin bandcamp page here. California traditional metal act White Wizzard have announced a string of UK tour dates in support of their new studio album "The Devils Cut".  The album is due to be release on June 25th 2013 and can be pre-ordered from the Earache Records webstore on CD/LP here.

Icelandic metallers Skalmold have been added to the September/October 2013 UK tour with Finntroll and Tyr.  The band who's latest album "Born Loka" came out on Napalm Records in October 2012 will be supporting on the UK and European dates.  This follows their performance at this year's Eistnaflug festival taking place in Iceland between 10th and 13th July.  The UK dates for Finntroll/Tyr/Skalmold are as follows:
