Desertfest have continued the announcements for the 2014 lineup adding the experimental Japanese act Boris as headliners for the Electric Ballroom on the Sunday and Weedeater as the main support to headliners Kvelertak on the Saturday night. Boris hail from Tokyo and have gone through pretty much every genre known to man over the years since their inception in 1992 releasing 18 studio albums and splits with the likes of Torche, Doomriders and SunnO)). Dirty down tuned southern sludge act Weedeater should be no strangers to those interested in Desertfest fronted by “Dixie” Dave Collins (Buzzoven and Bongzilla). As previously announced Friday will be headlined by the reformed Spirit Caravan.
Day tickets are on sale ranging from £25 to £30 here with full weekend tickets coming in at £85. Keep an eye out on the official Desertfest website here for more upcoming announcements over the next few weeks with tons more bands still to be added.
