Wizard Fight are set to tear up the Saturday at this year’s Desertfest on a day that will see Kvelertak headline and The Body in the UK for the first time as well as Dragged Into Sunlight, Weedeater, Anciients, Hey Collosus and tons more. Check out the Desertfest website for full details on the entire line up – day tickets are on sale now, as well as 3 day tickets (Boris and Spirit Caravan are headlining the other days \m/).
I had the chance to catch them playing a desertfest warm up show supporting Morkobot and Gorilla this weekend as they prepare the order for their set list and had a chat with the band about their new album. As it turns out Wizard Fight have made a kickstarter to raise funding for their new EP/Album, and there are some rather different bargains to be had along with the usual CD and merch preorders. You see singer Luke is a trained tattoo artist who has worked at Madame Butterfly in Hastings for numerous years so there’s the chance to get some new ink along with the new album should you choose. Not only that but drummer Dan is a well respected Tailor who makes suits for those rich folk that shop on Savile Row, so if you’re feeling swish you can pick up a tailor made suit jacket cheap along with the album! There is a week left on their kickstarter so why not go check out all the preorder pledges – heck you could even have them play your front room! Find out all about it here.
