'Kin Hell Fest happened in April this year, and the line up was quite frankly ridiculous.  We were already tied up with Desertfest (damn these clashes that keep happening!) and whilst Desertfest was more fun than we could have ever asked for, we were still extremely jealous of the people North of the wall having such an amazing line up (please next year make sure they don't clash!!).  

According to the organisers "the fest went awesome actually, the atmosphere, bands, setting was all spot on", however there were some unexpected costs and they've lost a fair bit of cash.  So to make up for it they have asked friends in bands to contribute and, well, they have some rather special friends it would seem. Together bands have contributed EIGHTY TWO tracks to a fund-raiser compilation that you can now download for a mere £4.00...

Putting on its first edition in 2002 at The Dome in North London, Ninjafest became a European Hardcore staple over the next six years. North of the Wall Festival is a new festival concieved last summer with the idea of helping promote the Scottish metal scene.  The whole festival is being run non-profit purely for the love of metal and hoping to help the local scene in Glasgow.  With the announcement of the Edinburgh legends Holocaust we thought we'd give you a preview of all the bands now confirmed for this exciting new installment in the Scottish metal calendar.  North of the wall festival is on 13th April 2013 at the Queen Margaret Union in Glasgow.  Tickets are on sale priced at £15.00 and more info can be found on the official site here.

This Saturday the Electrowerkz is host to a black/extreme metal alldayer brought to you by Aeon Promotions in association with Nazgul Agency.  With so many bands on the bill we though it wise to present you with a preview piece to check out all the bands making up this huge bill priced at a bargain £14.50.
